Lock South, Inc. is a family-run business that has been serving our community for more than 35 years.
Lock South was created by our founder, Thomas Karsten, in 1988. Eventually, in 1999, he moved us to our current location on Old Peachtree Rd.
Finally, in 2020, it was time for Tom to retire. Lock South, Inc. changed hands to his younger brother, Jerry Karsten. Jerry has preserved the standards that Lock South is known for, and he plans to continue building and growing the company and our relationships with our customers.
Currently, we maintain 100+ commercial accounts, as well as local churches, schools, and residential communities. We are grateful for our continuous growth and have recently expanded our team, so that we may continue servicing the Greater Atlanta and North Georgia Communities.
Jerry Karsten, President
Our President, Jerry Karsten, has more than 45 years of experience working in the locksmith industry. He diligently worked for Lock South as the Lead Technician for 25 years before purchasing the company from his brother in 2020. Today, Lock South continues to grow under his care.

Jerry is an associated locksmith and member of the ALOA Security Professionals Association, and has been since 2004.
